Today we celebrate Bishop Louis Dugar Day in the City of Crowley, LA

Bishop Louis Dugar was a Dedicated and Caring Leader. Not only to the Greater Love Family but, to everyone he came in contact with. Rather it was through kind words that always came with a big smile and a welcome heart; you could always count on Bishop Dugar. He touched the lives of many people that lived in the community; no matter your background, race, or denomination; he always showed true care and concern. We hope that you remember Bishop Louis Dugar today by doing something for someone else; just as he did daily through service to others.

Bishop Louis Dugar will be missed but, his legacy will live on.

In 2020 the mayor of Crowley signed the
proclamation for Bishop Louis Dugar Day
to be celebrated every 1st Sunday in
September.

It’s an all white affair, so here’s your chance to shine bright In ALL WHITE ATTIRE (not required)

Service time is at 10:30 am. Bring a friend or loved one who’d like to attend. Bishop Louis Dugar had many friends and loved ones throughout the city, surrounding communities, the state of Louisiana and beyond.

Let’s keep his memory alive and everything that he stood for. See you there.
