If I photographed your wedding 8 years ago, I may have had a very young assistant with me. My very first intern, Jake, was a Senior in High School when I met him. He was shy and quiet but he asked me a few photography questions that made me realize he knew his stuff. He showed me a few of his photos and I was BLOWN AWAY by his talent. He truly had an eye for capturing beautiful things. Jake assisted me on weddings for a little over a year and then moved on to a "real job".
Eight years later, Jake is all grown up and getting married. He found the love of his life and if you know Victoria, she is the perfect combination of sweet and sass. The moment I met her I adored her. She is fierce, loyal and has no idea how stunning she is. To see the way Jake smiles around her, I know he has found his other half.
Eight years have passed since I met this talented kid and although his hobbies have varied with cars, videography, and playing guitar; one thing still holds true... he still has an eye for capturing beautiful things. 💛
