Friday, 17 May 2024, from 7:00 till 9:00 p.m., The Culpeper Acoustic Cafe, hosted by Culpeper Baptist Church, will be featuring the following acts: Low Maintenance, from Chesapeake, Virginia, and local Acoustic Duo, Breckley & Shepherd!
About "Low Maintenance" ... That's right. We found we meshed so well together that we're like a well oiled machine. Evans (on Dobro) refurbishes old cars so he knows. Connie (guitar) is a Master Gardener specializing in plants that need minimal care and Karen (on bass) cooks up a fine recipe without thinking about it.
Together we combine vocal harmonies and play traditional bluegrass and bluegrass gospel songs and can change-it-up however you want it. We're low maintenance. 😉

About Breckley & Shepherd, an Acoustic Americana Duo!
Frank Breckley and Chuck Shepherd have been writing and playing music together since 2005. They have played in various formats from a full band to a duo.
Known collectively as, "Breckley & Shepherd" they
currently play as an acoustic Americana duo.
Breckley & Shepherd released an album in 2008, titled, "Still Not Over You". The title song has been a favorite on many independent music sites since it first debuted on the internet.
Before the release of, Still Not Over You, Breckley & Shepherd appeared several times on a Nashville TV show called Smart Country, hosted by Jimmy and Lorraine Smart. In 2007 they entered an online talent show called, Famecast, in which they were flown to Austin, Texas to compete in a live internet contest.
