As we close in on our first 2024 wedding next week, we take a fond look back at the last of our favorite 2023 weddings: Sarah and Robert. These two could not be more perfect for each other. The special details including a mead toast, wooden flowers, a taco bar dinner service, and sweet Lord of the Rings elements sprinkled about, were uniquely them and led to a fun wedding for all! Congratulations again you two - it was a day to remember!!!

Another year, another BEST WEDDING VENUE in Culpeper''s Best of the Best contest! Thanks for everyone's support during this contest. Our venue has a certain authentic farm-winery charm to it and we love being able to share our 130-year-old farm with couples and their guests on their special day!

The moment Morgan and Tres told us they wanted to use the old walnut facing the vineyards as their ceremony backdrop, we knew this couple was going to do it their way - and we couldn't have loved them more for it.

From the slightly unconventional ceremony site, to driving up to the ceremony in a classic car, to serving a tower of donuts for dessert, and all the other unique and wonderful details, we fondly look back on this spring 2023 wedding as one of our favorites of the year!

Olivia and Troy - what to say about these two and their Sept 2023 wedding.... The party was such a joy to work with and they put together an epic wedding. The details were perfect, the food was delicious, and the live music was fantastic. Here's to many more years for this lovely couple!

I know we say it over and over again, but the best way to do a wedding is to just do it your way! We love Caitlin and Michael for all of their unique touches last fall: an asymmetrical flower arrangement at the ceremony site, several fun yard games, photo booth, live band, woodfired pizza truck, and cake cutting with a sword. It all added up to a memorable evening that we won't forget soon! Best wishes to such a happy and fun-loving couple!

One of our current favorite trends for weddings right now are grazing tables and charcuterie boards! They add such beautiful details to your reception and make the guests extra-happy because they are edible! And bonus is that you don't have to take them home or throw them away at the end of the night because they've been gobbled right up. :)
