We are current seeking a Limousine Chauffeur to join our team in Los Angeles!

The Chauffeur works under the general supervision of the General Manager to provide safe and comfortable luxury transportation to a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Picking passengers up at their locations such as hotels or homes without delay.
Opening doors for the passengers as they board the car and ensuring that they are comfortable during the entire journey.
Load and unload personal belongings from vehicle if necessary.
Operate and handle vehicle within parameters needed to provide a safe experience for passengers, themselves, the vehicle and others.
Accurately detail all stops, services and changes to job. Turn in report in a timely manner.
Must use Hagstron/Thomas Guide maps and not rely on mapquest/navigation systems.
Keep vehicle clean at all times, have newspaper/water for clients and keep minimal amount of supplies on front seat.
Provide a personable but discreet atmosphere for all passengers.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and business environment appearance
Clean Driving record and pass background/drug test
Ability to operate electronic devices and applications
Ability to conduct himself/herself in a courteous and businesslike manner at all times
Extensive knowledge of surrounding areas
Past experience as a chauffeur preferred
Physical Qualifications:

Must be willing and physically fit to be able to lift and move baggage (up to 75 lbs), maneuver up and down stairs, repeatedly bend, kneel and stretch.
Must be able to remain stationary (sitting) for long, extended periods of time

We are current seeking a Reservations Agent to assist with booking chauffeur requests to join our team in New Jersey!

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible for accurately booking chauffeured ground transportation (local, national and international) as well as farming to our national affiliates out of our NY/NJ office.

Reservations come in through several channels.

Responsible for continuously monitoring all incoming reservations channels (phone, several email inboxes, online bookings) and responding to client requests promptly and professionally.

Responsible for monitoring the status of national rides to ensure clients are provided excellent customer service from our affiliates.

Independently review client reservations for accuracy and quality.

Other duties as assigned.

Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.

Knowledge and experience with computers and reservations programs.

Experience in the limo industry preferred.

Knowledge of airports, hotels & entertainment venues in NEW JERSEY area is a huge plus.

Must be multi-tasking between heavy phones, emails, manage many projects simultaneously with ease and confidence.

Must enjoy working with demanding clientele and warmly assist with their reservations request

Ability to communicate effectively with grace and courtesy dealing with clients

Dear Valued Avalon Clients,

With every ride we undertake, Avalon is entrusted with the safety of our clients, and we’ve always taken great pride in living up to the confidence you’ve placed in us. Like so many of you, my team and I have spent the past few weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. With the concern surrounding the virus, we want to inform you of the additional measures we are taking at all Avalon facilities to ensure the health and safety of our clients and employees.

At the onset of every trip, vehicle interiors are thoroughly cleaned with Clorox or similar (virus and bacteria killing) disinfectant wipes. Areas addressed in the cleaning include: the entire interior door panel, all handles, window and lock mechanisms, door storage areas, arm-rests, cup holders, power cords, seats, seatbelts, exterior door handles, air vents and child-seats (when used).

After the cleaning, windows are opened to allow for a refreshing of the interior cabin air. Additional changes to your regular service (as a result of these precautions) include the removal of all printed and reading materials from the seat-back pockets, the removal of any mints left in open display, and our customary water bottles (which will now be stored with the chauffeur and provided upon request).

Information has been provided to our staff from the CDC website along with its guidelines and resources. Numerous meetings have been held with the staff to reinforce essential hygiene and health practices such as washing hands regularly with soap, and staying home when sick.

We will continue to evaluate our policies and procedures to keep our Avalon community healthy. In the meantime, we appreciate your loyalty and look forward to providing all of our clients the best service in transportation.
