So in case y’all were wondering what happened. That thing in the middle is my spinal chord. It was compressed and needed space. They took out the back of cervical spine 4&5. So the chord had some space. And put titanium screws in 3 to 6 to stabilize it. And then they closed it up with 28 staples 4 hours later. Makes one realize how fragile life is. The only thing certain is uncertainty and I definitely had an illusion of control. All I know is in hind sight I’ve been protected, and blessed with such an awesome wife and brave daughter. I’m so stoked on having my strength back.

We will have a final hoora at Metro Cafe on Thursday October 20th from 7-9ish. Sign ups will be in person from 7-7:10 pm. As closes its doors at the end of the year I would like to thank for generously trusting us with the space for 24 months. DJ Nickie Black for bringing his best, passion, and OG experience every month, Lavelle for setting up every show, for all of your prayers and poetry, for organizing our online life, for the support & connecting me with Nickie. Thank you to all the artists that came through those doors, and a special thanks to Kelly Thompson for introducing me to . You never know where a conversation can lead. And of course & who got home on her busiest day of the week so I can do this. Always step into opportunity you never know the lives it can affect. I look forward to what Streaming Hope will look like in 2023. See you on the 20th.
