I'm shocked and delighted! I normally turn away requests to perform at 3 year old birthday parties. At that age, I have found from long experience the kids don't understand enough about the world to get my jokes and appreciate that the magic tricks I'm doing are "magic". But yesterday, the Dad insisted and I did a show that kept both the adults and the little ones interested and got this kind review. :-)

Memorial Day weekend is when we honor people who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It's also a time when many people have parties. I performed my magic and comedy at birthdays, a picnic, and an anniversary. I have it easy because of the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for our country and I am grateful.

If you have a screen to see this, be thankful. Is your screen plugged in or does it have battery life to view this with? Be thankful. If you have eyes to read it with, be thankful (even if you need glasses or contacts or have to enlarge the screen). Truly I am so grateful for all the many blessings I have in my life. Do I have everything I want? No, but I'm thankful for that for as the poet Robert Browning wrote "...a man's reach should exceed his grasp, Or else what's a heaven for?" I am thankful to all of you who pause as you scroll thru your feed to read this and I sincerely wish all of you and all those you hold dear a wonderful Thanksgiving. ❤
