As I carried her train down to the aisle so it would drag on the gravel, I heard the bride lean over to her dad and say:

“Daddy, I’ve been dreaming about this day since I was 6 years old. I can’t believe it’s here.”

Later that evening she hugged me and told me it was the best night of her life.

I’m still crying thinking about it.

and I cannot tell you what an honor it was to be a small part of your big day. You mean the world to our family and I am just over the moon happy for you two!

✨IT’S WEDDING WEEK ✨

It’s my first wedding back from maternity leave and I literally could not possibly think of a better couple to kick off my spring season with.

I have had the honor and pleasure of knowing for several years and can honestly say, these are things I have prayed for her to have: for a man of honor to fall in love with, for a sweet engagement full of special moments and times she feels cherished, and currently praying for a beautiful wedding day (details, weather, and support) and an incredible marriage for so so so many years to come!

She has loved on us and loved on our children and I am beyond excited to love on her and this weekend as they tie the knot!

Let the fun begin! 🥰

Been a little quiet here while dealing with some obnoxious spam/hacking situation but…

The youngest member of the TDW crew has officially arrived and is in our arms. We are over the moon in love with our little guy and I deeply appreciate your patience as I take “maternity leave” and adjust to being a mom of FIVE beautiful blessings.

Not only is it wedding week, it’s wedding eve!!

I remember getting off phone after my consult with this couple. I walked to my husband and I said “I want to do this wedding so bad. I hope they choose me.”

I have an extra special pleasure of knowing the groom’s family for the majority of my life but this bride was new to me. Through this process I have gotten to work with her and know her… my goodness, I never could have imagined how excited I would be!

I’ve been waiting for this weekend all year and it’s going to be amazing 🥰 happy wedding weekend Maddie & Kyle! Let’s do this!

Personal note-
This is my last wedding before I go on “maternity leave”. I will be back in the game spring of 2024, but until then- expect wedding throwbacks, advice, and the occasional bump/baby update.

Bumping right along through wedding season 😍

It’s wedding weekend in South Georgia and I don’t have any pictures of my couple, I will be posting some BTS in my stories.

✨meet the couple✨

This is Katelyn + Jesse.

These two were MEANT to be together! They went to the same small college then life took them in different directions. They worked for the same company, but only “knew of each other”. It wasn’t until they weren’t at school or work together that these two started dating… it literally wasn’t until they weren’t together that they NEEDED to be together!

This wedding will certainly be one for the books for sure- I am beyond excited to not only see the blending of this couple, the blending of the two families, but also a total blending of cultures! A total marital fiesta 💃

Tucked in a field up in the North Georgia mountains, these two are going to tie the knot and begin one of the greatest chapters of their life on what I believe to be one of the best days of the year 😘

P.S. it’s one of the best days because it also happens to be my birthday 🥳 seriously, working with them is a GIFT and I am so grateful.

Personal opinion: kids at weddings add a whole extra level of fun!

It’s about 50/50 weddings that have kids vs weddings that don’t these days. Maybe it’s because I’m a mom of 4 (nearly 5) that makes me just really enjoy the energy and s***k kids can bring to the wedding 🤷🏼‍♀️

NEW OFFICE HOURS!

I love the consistency the new school year brings 🥰

Please also note that I will be in maternity leave beginning January 27, 2024 through March 30, 2024 at which time I will only be offering virtual meetings for my spring couples. If you would like an in person meeting, we can schedule that for after leave or we’ll plan to have a new tiny human tag along 👶🏼

This is Sydney + Jacob.

I‘ve said it before- I’m a sucker for a good high school sweetheart story… but a love that kicks it back to middle school??? I just melt like a puddle 😍

These two met young and apparently hit it off! Being together through the highs and lows of growing up and getting to where they are now is just such an incredible thing. It’s stunning to see two people grow so much and continue to grow in love together. Their wedding is sure to be a day to remember 😍
