On January 18th, ESOG celebrated our 14th Anniversary and began our fifteenth year of business!
Shared from previous years, but too good not to share again.
What a ride it has been. There have been good years, there have been bad years. There has been an excess of hard work, sacrifice, blood, sweat and tears. There have been lessons learned and relationships formed. There have been many instances of facing unforeseen circumstances and we've had to pivot. There has been both progress and regression. We've had to face many difficult, unpleasant decisions. We survived Covid, in the event industry!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
As a small business owners ourselves, it hits a little different when we interact with a small business. It stands out loud and clear to us that we are spending our money with a small business, and that our money is going toward paying someone's mortgage, their light bill, their health insurance premiums or sending their child to college. It is our sincerest hope that everyone pause and consider this when choosing who they do business with.
Jody, the man that started the business fifteen years ago has the same work ethic and integrity as he did on that day. He might have a few more grey hairs and a bit more back pain, but the foundation remains. The young sidekick in this photo, next to his mama, Leslie, is now practically a man. What an example of perseverance he's been privileged enough to grow up with.
Would you believe me if I told you that Event Services of Georgia began with a single $18,000 loan?! From there we very slowly grew, and strongly believe this is one of the reasons we are still around today!
You never know who is getting married next year at an outdoor venue with insufficient restrooms, who is having a graduation party for their child and doesn't want 100 teenagers going in and out of their house, who is hosting a 50th anniversary party for their parents in the backyard, who works for a business that sometimes hosts large outside events, or who might be building a house next year. With that being said, mention us anyway, share our posts anyway, because you never know where it might lead.
A huge thank you to our loyal customers, and to our extremely dedicated and hardworking employees! Here's to year fifteen and hopefully many more to come! 🥂
