My darling friends just welcomed the tiniest, most handsome boy to their family! Ashley & Micheal, you are the best parents to your new bundle!
Ashley and I have been friends since high school & it was an absolute joy to squeeze her & snuggle her precious baby boy💙 thank you sweet friends, yall are doing an amazing job! Sweet boy is so lucky to have y’all as his parents!

Just a few of my favs from last nights session!🤍

When I started this photography journey I was in the midst of heartbreak as we navigated the rough waters of infertility! It took my mind off of the present and helped me focus on the bigger picture, I never imaged it would lead me to here to this moment. The moment I had the opportunity to create art for other faithful hearts on the road to parenthood🤍🤍 These photos are more than a frozen image in time, they are full of hope, full of love, joy & faith! This full circle moment has struck a fire in my soul and ignited my passion to create images that mean something🤍 I am grateful for this talent God enstilled in me & I am so happy to serve such beautiful hearts every single day!

Just dreaming of warmer weather!☀️

I know I’m not alone in saying that the cold needs to go👋 one of us has been some level of sick since the beginning of December and we’re over it like wayyyyy over it! Between the runny noses, coughs, fevers and just feeling icky I think we need a trip somewhere warm and sunny to make it through February!🤣 so in the mean time I’ll just sit here and stare at all of the warmer weather shoots I can find and imagine myself reading a Colleen Hoover book somewhere on a beach!🌴

Capturing the newborn season is something I will never take for granted🥹 babies don’t keep!!! I’ve just been down the external hard drive black hole going through newborn sessions and now I’m just a heap of emotions!

They truly are some of my favorite captures because the emotions are real & raw. The new love I get to witness from the other side of my lens is just unexplainable. it’s grand yet simple, it’s beautiful yet messy at times, it’s its hard yet worth it and every single time I am just awestruck by the beauty of it all! It’s like witnessing a miracle with every click. These tiny babies grow up and do big things but these photos are like a Time Machine for our hearts & thank goodness for that! When I look back at my babies photos I can almost smell that new baby smell, I can feel their soft baby skin and remember those precious newborn snuggles! I also remember the heartbreak it took to become a mother, and remind myself every time that those 10 tiny fingers and 10 perfect toes are the greatest gift that God has ever given me. Recording these moments for you my friends is an honor I will forever hold dear!!

Today was spent chatting the morning away with one of my very best girls 🥰 and the sweetest part!? We became friends because of our love for photography! is an amazingly talented photographer and what a breath of fresh air to find another creative who values community over competition! It’s truly a gift to have a friend in the same creative space to bounce ideas off of, ask for advice, lift each other up & cheer each other on! I think, in our line of work people have the stigma of competition. It honestly breaks my heart because photographers need community too, especially during this crazy holiday season!🤍

This time of year is my photography Super Bowl🏈 Between weddings, family photos, mini sessions and hours of editing, my life in consumed by photography and I am oh so thankful!
