Summer is officially here in Vickery! For those that don’t know, our shop is in a village that is a very short walk from the local middle school. That means that every afternoon these sweet faces pass our doors making their way to the ice cream shop and green space. Today, on their last day of school, their joy is immeasurable. There is squealing with delight as they celebrate another year of education under their belts on their way to freedom. We hope it’s been a fabulous year and that they all have a fun-filled summer. ☀️ Happy last day of school! 🎉 & yay for less morning traffic, right?!

I can’t help but look at these photos and smile. ☀️ The abundance of yellow in our shop last week was like walking around in a sea of sunshine. Not one, but two of our four weddings this past weekend were yellow which isn’t a color we get requested much in the wedding floral world but I can say that we were thrilled! Pairing all that bright sunshiney happiness with the beautiful pale blue made it all just pop and perfect for spring! thank you for trusting us with your vision and your special day! Our last wedding of the year was filled with all the Christmas cheer and love ♥️ 🎄 Grace had some of the best ideas to incorporate into her decor and all the little details were so festive and fitting for the season and cold winter day. A hot cocoa bar, a s’mores pit, a wardrobe cabinet filled with soft, cozy blankets, gingerbread house centerpieces, Christmas trees all over…all this bride’s ideas. I’m just sad we didn’t get to see it all lit up as I know it was simply magical. This family is precious to us and we’re so grateful to share in another special day with them. Finding the right words for this one is a little tricky. When you put your heart and soul and sleepless nights into your work the way we do, sometimes seeing a day so meaningful come together in such a magical place like @neverland.farms can bring out all the emotions. Connections with a bride can come in many forms but something about this one will sit with us for a very long time. Saturday morning we ventured off to the mountains to our favorite, fairytale place. The biggest arbor install to date at Neverland and she is a vision. IG is a funny thing sometimes and doesn’t let you post something that is longer than 90 seconds. I get it, no one really wants to watch something longer than that but this particular “reel” is longer because it plays to the music of the bride and grooms first dance song which is absolutely beautiful. We had the absolute pleasure of creating these gorgeous pieces for a bride & groom that have been planning their wedding from the NE part of the country, which is no easy feat.
