Help wanted with AM (6a-11a) & PM (3:30-6:30) chores. Mucking stalls, feeding, cleaning and filling water tanks, turn out ect. Horse experience is preferred but willing train. Must be reliable, be able to work unsupervised and be able to dress for and work in all weather conditions.
We are located in Custer approximately 5 miles east of Stevens Point.

Saturday November 2nd come see Liz at Heartland Horse Festival . I'm not sure anyone is better with minis and ponies! Liz helped come up with the idea for this event!

Liz Rice has been a professional trainer for 44 years and has many accomplishments, including 57 world and national Championships and has as been UPHA and Wisconsin horse counsel's person of the year

Today, the emphasis will be.
1: Introduction to the miniature horse and pony breeds alter confirmation and characteristics. Hunter over fences in hands, scoring and maximizing your run. Trail in hand scoring and maximizing your points.

2: Driving the miniature and pony breeds the right horse for the job, finding the harness and cart, taking the correct division to maximize your pony's abilities

Tia is a multi carded equestrian judge, She was awarded the 2017 WHC Judge of the year and is a Certified Medical Assistant in a very busy family practice office for the past 23 years. She has been the National Youth Advisor for Palomino Horse Breeders of America for the past 7 years.

"Judging, educating and finding ways to keep a our industry fresh and exciting is a challenge. I feel you can never stop learning in this crazy adventure we call horses, so soak up every little bit of it you can. Find what you love to do with your horse, it may not be the same as the person next to you, and that is OK. Just keep trying and learning.

Today we’ll work on showmanship, it’s the foundation of movement and balance on the ground with your horse. Basic and advanced showmanship all start the same, at the gate. Let’s try to clean up the grit of it, try to make it a little fun.
