The Rubber City Music Festival is dedicated to creating a platform for emerging local musicians to share their talents with a broad audience.

Our events feature live music, food and beverage vendors, and great raffles and giveaways. Rubber City Music Festival was born of the success of the "This is Akron" music showcase which took place in January of 2012. Fans and musicians alike were anxiously awaiting the next event. In September, the first ever Rubber City Music Festival pleased fans and gave even greater exposure to the local music

In July 2022 My band New Monarch took over The Akron Recording Company for a hard week of songwriting and preproduction.

So many ideas were left on the cutting room floor, but there was one that we immortalized. We performed it live with our good friend and Producer Bob Marlette on keys and backing vocals.

I am sure that many of you already know that I have spent most of my life as a guitarist, songwriter and performer. I love it. What you may not have known was that I have always had a passion for producing and co-writing with other artists. Over the past couple I’ve had the opportunity to sharpen those skills.
