It is very rare when I know exactly what I want to do with a cake. Especially when I’m allowed to freestyle a design. My goal with every cake is to create a memory. I’ve seen a few of my customers cry from my confections by video but never in person. To get a hug for a cake that I made means the world to me. I want everyone to feel the love I put in all of my work.

Simple and Sassy….

I had to make a few practice spots on parchment paper before actually painting black buttercream onto white. When I first got this order I honestly didn’t know what direction to go. Leopard print can sometimes be too much but I feel like this was a great balance!

To make Letter and Number cakes it takes two half sheet pans of cake. This cake was so moist I was scared that I wouldn’t of been able to take it out of the pan. I really love making these cakes because it’s more of a freestyle design.

I really need to work on getting better pictures of my cakes… I know I know! That label on the front of the cake was made starting with a blank canvas. Adding detail after detail and taking hours to find the best font to match a “Jameson” label.
