Dear Customers and friends,
We wish to inform you that effective today we are closing Murdoch’s bistro/restaurant.
However, with a venue and chef, second to none, our plan is to reopen in the fall as a fine dining establishment in keeping with our theme of “Beyond Normal”. Our menu will be a seasonal, ever-changing selection of gourmet offerings, based on local & homegrown ingredients.
In the Interim we will continue to offer catering and onsite events.
We will be opening the new restaurant in early fall of this year. We hope you will continue to follow us as Chef Sarah shares her research and recipes in preparation to serve you only the best.
We thank you and are so appreciative of all of you who have supported us in our labor of love.

Make your weekend dining plans for Murdoch's Backyard restaurant. Thanks to owners Gwen & Sara, we filled our first commercial Reach Microgreens order today! It will be fun to check out how they use the micros in their delicious and creative dishes! Murdoch's is open Wednesday - Saturday, 11am - 7pm at 18541 Mueschke Road.

Our mind-blowing deviled eggs are made with vibrant eggs from our own chickens (that’s why they’re more yellow than yours, “Anne”), & housemade chipotle mayo & bread & butter pickled peppers. That brown on top? Paprika (because, in this house, we believe in seasonings) & bacon bits we make in our oven using applewood bacon. You like bacon, don’t you? They’re not old. We make them fresh. You’ll love them (even if you don’t like deviled eggs)!

Beyond Normal: Burgers, Beer, Sunsets

Murdoch’s is built by family, for family as a place to hang out, drink some brewskies, eat some great food, enjoy some good conversation: all the finer things in life. We wanted a place to hang with old friends, make new friends, share our awesome food, and have a great time doing it; and so Murdoch’s was born.

Murdoch, the original dumb dog, greeted everyone with so much enthusiasm he once ran headfirst into a speeding car (he was ok, his head was made of iron). Likewise, once you walk through our door, we consider you family.

Just like in our own home, we make all of the good stuff in-house. That means all of our sausages, sauces, condiments, pickles, gumbos, ramens, chilis, smoked meats, breadings/batters, & desserts are, literally, handmade by Murdoch's minions, in our kitchen.

Because we respect each of our customers like family, we take great care to ensure the freshness and deliciousness of everything that comes out of our kitchen. That means that sometimes things will look or taste a bit different than the last time you had them; sometimes your food may take a bit longer to prepare; and, try as we might to always have everything, sometimes we run out of things. It's because we put so much love in it all. And, we wouldn't have it any other way.
