Take your plain daisy bling trim from #drabtofab by adding inexpensive plastic or glass gems. 💎 I have used hot glue, E6000 and Gem-Tac to adhere my gems and Gem-Tac is my favorite when I’m prepping long trim pieces. The Gem Tac glue dries quickly and doesn’t stink. I also like that you can wiggle the gem around until it’s perfectly straight. 🎀 We set out in March 2023 to add some cabinets to our old dining room because I desperately needed more storage space for my ribbon. 🎀 I thought it was gonna be a quick 2 week project. 😂 Well, 10 months and several Design Adjustments later, we are Ready for Design Sessions! I must have been tired when I ordered my Pearl 💎 Letters. Forgot to order any “S’s”, and then I realized I ordered half the “I’s” and “O’s” that I needed. Guess I gotta make another order 😂 It’s too early to be #hoco tired! Love y’all! MG🌸

Here’s a quick tutorial on how I start my Love Chain. #protip When you are perfecting this braid. Start out with about a yard of each ribbon. I used 7/8” or #5 satin lustre gold label ribbon from McGinley and a 7/8”or #5 5400 Satin supreme ribbon from @reliantribbon . When you have practiced a lot, you can start making longer braids. A mum length Love Chain usually takes me about 4 yards per color. To get a more professional look, double up your ribbons 🎀 Hope this helps! MG🌸

They are almost like a time capsule of their High School years. 🎀My @reliantribbon order🎀 came in and I wanted to share with y’all how I keep track of what colors I have in stock in my Studio. 💗I have a 🎀 Swatch Ring that I can use while I’m out shopping for #homecomingmums supplies, pretty wired ribbons and such.
