Our Story
For over 18 years Benedetto's has been serving up incredible meals and memorable moments. Benedetto’s is truly FARM TO TABLE with our own farm. Many accolades and awards have been bestowed including being one of Florida Trend's Top 400 restaurants year after year. Head Chef and Proprietor Ben Pumo and his wife Elizabeth's mission is to serve only the finest and freshest food available on the market. Bendettos has its own garden, and is one of the only Tampa Bay Area restauraunts to do so. Everything here at Benedetto's is made fresh to order. Most of our filled pastas are made by hand in our kitchen. Our steaks are cut daily on premise and are the finest of Certified Black Angus Meat available. Our produce is grown on our own farm.
Our northern seafood is flown in fresh from Chef Bens Connections in Maine and the local seafood is delivered daily from his close relationships with the local fish captians. Our shrimp come directly from the docks out of Tarpon Springs and taste like mini lobster tails. Bottom line is you can't Fake FRESH!! One of our most popular appetizers that was actually made by mistake is the Ben Dip, that includes lobster meat, lump crabmeat, artichokes, spinach, five cheeses, topped with alfredo and mozzerella then finished in the oven. TO die for!! We make our bread fresh every day and also our desserts. Our wine lists boosts over100 bottles and many by the glass. Our Martinis are 10ozs and have been said by most to be the best around. You will find that all of our sauces are made from scratch and that nothing contains MSG or artificial flavoring. Benedetto's specializes in northern and southern Italian cuisine with a big emphasis on Seafood and WILD GAME such as ELK, KANGAROO, BISON, QUAIL, and RABBIT.
We also offer Gluten free pasta, wheat pasta, 15 vegetarian entrees and can accommodate most diners health needs, because all of our entrees are cooked to order, making it a dinning pleasure to those that have special dietary needs.You will find that our service is some of best you will ever have. The average tenure of a server at Benedetto's is 5 years. They will impress you with there extensive knowledge of the menu and the recital of the daily specialties. Benedetto's is one of the only Tampa bay restaurants to have live piano bar music every night of the week. The walls are lined with customer photos, local and natiionally recongnized celebrties, Rat-pack memorbilia and numerous awards won througout the years. All of Benedetto's entrees come with choice of salad, fresh baked garlic rolls, and most with side. 75% of menu is between 14.50-22.95 We are not ala-carte, we are not a chain and again, if your “Tired of Chain Food?
