We’ve got BIG news! We’re MOVING to a brand new space in downtown Sioux City, IA!

Thanks to the incredible support of the Siouxland community, we’re expanding to a stunning 6,000 square foot space! Our current location has been amazing, but it’s time for a change, and we couldn’t be more excited to grow and serve you all in this new chapter.

While we don’t have an exact date yet, we’ll be keeping you posted every step of the way!

Are you about to begin your wedding dress shopping journey?! We are here for you! ✨

Here are some recommendations before you begin..

Research styles: Before you go shopping, think about what you like and don’t like in terms of style, neckline, fabric, and silhouette.

Set a budget: Your wedding dress cost does not include alterations and accessories, create a budget for each expense.

Bring the right undergarments: Wear underwear that’s similar to your skin tone during your appointments.

Trust your gut: Listen to your instincts when choosing a dress. Not every bride cries happy tears, jumps with joy, etc. Every YES looks different!

Don’t shop on an empty stomach: Being hungry while dress shopping can lead to an unhappy bride to be. Grab a bite before you arrive to your appointment.

Don’t over shop: Most brides believe they have to shop at all of the possible bridal shops that they can, but this can lead you to a stressful “ivory haze” .. this is where every dress starts to look the same. Avoid this by limiting your dress shopping.

Well.. if you didn’t before, now you do!

✨ At Freebird Bridal, we provide comprehensive cleaning and preservation services for your wedding gown and veil, making the process effortless. You don’t need to be a Freebird Bridal bride to use this service—we welcome gowns purchased from any retailer.

✨ Ideally, a wedding dress should be preserved within six weeks of the wedding, though it’s never too late to have it professionally cleaned and preserved. To prevent discoloration, store your preserved dress in a cool, dry, dark location inside an acid-free garment bag or box.

✨ You can purchase a preservation package anytime, either before or after your wedding, with no deadline.
