I’m Jezz—the heart and hands behind The Rooted Petals. What started as a simple love for rare plants and floral design has blossomed into something beyond my dreams—a small business where I get to share my passion with you.

My journey with flowers began long before The Rooted Petals was born. Growing up in the Philippines, I helped my mom create beautiful flower arrangements for her catering business while she worked full-time as a school teacher. I also watched my dad care for his farm, growing fruit trees and vegetables. As a child, I even helped him sell our harvest. Seeing my parents with their entrepreneurial spirit shaped my own passion and work ethic.

With a background in luxury hospitality, I’ve always been drawn to creating unforgettable experiences. Now, I bring that same dedication to curating meaningful floral arrangements and growing rare plants that spark joy and connection.

Every bloom, every leaf, and every creation tells a story, and I’m honored to share mine with you.

A Few Fun Facts About Me!

🌱 Born and raised in the Philippines—moved to the U.S. in 2016
🏨 My first job? A hotel housekeeper—where my hospitality journey began. Since then, I’ve had the chance to meet some notable people, including Dwayne Johnson and Matthew McConaughey, and many more!
🌿 Plant-obsessed? Absolutely! My collection has grown to over 300+ plants, and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon!
🐶 Proud plant & dog mom—our fur baby, Buki, is a lovable pitbull who keeps life entertaining!
🧶 Grandma hobbies, anyone? I recently picked up crocheting, and gardening keeps me busy every day.
🍳 Food lover & home cook! I’m always on Pinterest hunting for new recipes. Cooking is one of my favorite creative outlets!
