Venus Collective commands the cosmos with their lineup that’s out of this world. The Bass Station 3.0 has brought in Yawei. She is a multi-media artist and DJ from Austin, TX, known for her distinctive sound, Bohemian Bass—an eclective fusion of deep basslines, tribal rhythms, pop, hip-hop, and global influences. As a BIPOC and Asian female artist, she brings a unique perspective to the electronic music scene, channeling the zeitgeist of the times into each of her unique sets. Each prayformance is an alchemical journey for listeners to move through emotions that only music can reach.
With a strong connection to ecstatic dance and the flow arts scenes, Yawei’s music is crafted to resonate deeply within the body and soul. Her sound reflects her boho spirit—authentic, unconventional, and deeply connected to the Earth and its prayers. She has performed at multiple festivals, headlining two to date. Yawei’s music invites listeners on a journey of self-discovery, healing, empowerment, and connection, creating a space where the collective consciousness can be elevated through the power of sound.
