Today, my Sorors of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. celebrate 111 years of scholarship, service, and sisterhood. I'm grateful for the 22 progressive women who paved the way....there is NO sisterhood like this. May we always remember what our Founders stood for in 1913 social justice, public service, and academic excellence and continue to collaborate with our communities to transform the world.

Every day, I strive to be a good sister and friend to the people I love, and I owe much of that to what being a Delta has taught me.

💍 One of the most important things I ask my couples is whether they would like to have an unplugged ceremony, which means no photography during the ceremony. 💍 If needed, I will also signal when the music should change and when the bride should start walking down the aisle and remind guests to sit after the bride and groom have made their way to the altar.
