Savannah and Derek celebrated their nuptial Mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lindsay, Texas. The groom’s family has been part of St. Peter’s community since German settlers first celebrated Mass in 1892. How sweet it was for the couple to follow a rich family tradition of getting married at the beautiful historic church!

My new obsession is these cute no-vase arrangements that pack a visual punch on your table, don’t obstruct guest’s views, and can be taken home by anyone at the end of the night to continue enjoying!

These particular arrangements feature some funky textures like anthurium, calla lilies, and bells of Ireland. Our goal was to create garden style centerpieces that fit the environment of the reception, the Perot Science Museum.

Megan and Dave wanted to honor his Irish heritage with an Irish flower in their design. Minor problem— they got married in August and most Irish flowers do not bloom in August. A challenge we were up to!

We discovered a beautiful mauve foxglove that fit effortlessly into the color palette.

Megan’s bouquet includes blue tweedia, blush ranunculus, cotton xpression roses, yellow freesia, quicksand roses, Café latte roses, crème de la crème roses, brownie lisianthus, pink snowberry, pink astilbe, chocolate Queen Anne’s lace, and mauve foxglove.

The McRaes wanted their Nuptial Mass and Reception to feel like a peak into Heaven, the Eternal Wedding Banquet. Hotel Ella’s Ballroom was the perfect backdrop, Avery of Cana Wedding Co. crafted beautiful place settings, and Bradley Burckel expertly captured the delight of it all!

Megan wanted to honor her fiancé’s heritage by incorporating an Irish flower into her arrangements. It was a floral challenge for a Texas August wedding. I was thrilled to include a burgundy Foxglove that fit the color palette perfectly. I wish you could smell these bouquets! The garden roses, freesia, and stock created a delightful fragrance story!

Abby envisioned tables full of candles and bud vases, all inspired by Lazy S Hacienda’s modern twist on a traditional Mexican ranch. We mixed modern glass bud vases with a soft ceramic bud vases, filled with unique textures of flowers in cream, bronze, sand, and terracotta. I think we nailed “bridal meets rustic in October” and Ashley documented it all with artistry and authenticity.

My mom and I were just talking about how unique of a relationship marriage is. Deciding to spend the rest of your life with someone after knowing them for such a relatively short time? Actually crazy. Marriage is crazy. A crazy gift from God! Something else that’s crazy—I get to be part of the beginning of marriages through Petaled Design. I love ~love~ and seeing God’s hand in every relationship. Thank you to all my past and future couples for gifting me more evidence of God’s providence!
