I absolutely love planning cultural weddings! No I'm not personally familiar with their traditions, but after dozens of mehndi parties, haldi ceremonies and baraats, I still am constantly in awe of these cultural traditions that make wedding days so special and incredibly memorable!

The wedding days I dream of after the day has come and gone are the ones with kickass vendor teams, whom I adore and truly love being in the industry with.
Clients who truly value me as their planner, most of them I still talk to more as a friend long after their day is over. And added bonus when they throw a truly great party!

I've said it before ....

And I'll say it again! This engagement season is so so special, don't rush it. Don't over book yourself and for God sake enjoy it!

I've had too many people tell me they wish they had enjoyed their engagement more (myself included)
While yes there's things to be done, there's ways to organize, delegate and bond with your fiancé while doing it and making the most of your wedding planning!

Happy resurrection Sunday!

I hope this Sunday you get the opportunity to be with loved ones this weekend. But most importantly I hope you take a moment to reflect on the sacrifice made 2000 years ago to give us the opportunity of life eternal with The Father in heaven.
May we all spend time truly digesting the pain and suffering Jesus endured on each of our behalf. Not only did he die the death we all should have, HE WAS RAISED AND THE STONE WAS ROLLED AWAY!

If that isn't a reason to fall on our knees in praise today, and every day I don't know what is. But I do know who is worthy of it all!

What a year it has been!!! For those of you who are newer to these parts- a little over a year ago I quit my full time job in the medical field after 6 years to pursue a wild dream of wedding planning full time. This year has been fruitful, trying, exciting and full of love! After planning weddings for 6 years prior as a hobby I finally took the leap to grow my business and push myself as an entrepreneur. Over a dozen weddings, several celebrations, planning trips across the country, mission trips, super special proposals, new beginnings, new venue adventures and so much more! I cannot thank all of you enough for being here, supporting me and this dream. Allowing me to be entrusted with your most special day and cheering me on even beyond your wedding day! This dream has grown in ways I would have never imagined. To my team- I seriously could not do this without you. The long days, late night calls, planning my next big thing. You guys are such a special part of this company and I could never repay you enough! To my family - when I left my job I envisioned being a part time stay at home mom being so glamorous- let me tell you. That’s not always the case. But getting to spend the quality time with my boys is priceless. Going on field trips, taking vacations, being the drop off and pick up mom, are things I never thought would be possible while also having job commitments. My family has played such a huge role in my growth this year and I cannot thank them enough for the time, wisdom and sacrifices they’ve made to help me get here. (Especially after a triple header weekend when I am dead to the world- thank you for being gracious with me) Here’s to year 2!
