If there's one word we'd use to describe Texas weather, it would be... unpredictable! And when you're planning for an outdoor soiree, that can certainly be unnerving. But not to worry... we have you covered with all the back-up plans! Whether that's outdoor heaters to create comfortable al fresco dining or cozy blankets like these to keep guests comfortable during an outdoor ceremony, we're all about it. Oh, and these cute blankets did double duty as favors for guests to take home at the end of the night.

When we started working with Laura and Alex, the first step was to find them a venue that they would love. Enter Nasher Sculpture Center]. We were looking for a Saturday in the fall and even though we started planning a year out, all the Covid reschedules meant the only Saturday that would work was late in the season. After daylight savings time had ended. That meant the sun would be setting early and we’d be planning a ceremony after dark.

Challenge accepted.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With the help of an amazing vendor team (and perfect fall weather), Laura and Alex’s outdoor evening wedding was simply perfection. We have to give a special shout out to our friends at BEYONDLD] who exceeded our lighting dreams in every way, because a ceremony after dark is only as good as the team that lights it.
