Oberon, king of the fairies, is angry with his fairy queen Titania, and merry prankster Puck plays a trick on her; transforming Bottom into an ass, making her fall in love with the monster. In the end, all is mended as the couples are reunited, and the marriages are celebrated with a performance of Pyramis and Thisbe.
