Went on a girls trip a while ago to Huntington Beach and didn't expect to go to a dog surfing competition. At least I brought my camera! It took a while to get around to this edit.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Crazy Rich Asians!

It made me laugh. It made me cry.
But most importantly, it made me PROUD.

CRAZY RICH ASIANS. I rushed to the theatre to catch opening night, and wasn’t let down! It took 25 years to see an all-Asian cast in a Hollywood film again.

This movie marks PROGRESS. I hope box office numbers will show open mindedness to Asian cultures.

I caught myself so many times thinking “HAH. My mom does that.” And humming along to songs of my Taiwanese American childhood.

But SET THAT ASIDE. It’s a hilarious, witty rom-com with or without cultural references.

Bravo!!!

In case you’re wondering what I’ve been doing during this job transition, I got married yesterday!!! Obviously my dog helped officiate the wedding.

I’ll be starting the next step of my career on April 16th in Dallas, Texas. But for now we’re heading out for a short and sweet honeymoon!

Also, my Facebook name will be changing soon!!! Probably as soon as I start my new reporting job. Stay tuned for more!!!

It’s tough to say goodbye, so instead I’m going to say... thank you.

My last day at News 9 is next Thursday. It has been two incredible years and I’m so grateful for all of you who let me tell your stories. Thank you for inviting me into your living rooms every night!

Because of the opportunities here, I have been given a new opportunity in Dallas. This is amazing for my career! So, thank you. And know that I will never forget KWTV - NEWS 9, the viewers, and the Oklahoma Standard.
