Are you a new mama worried about your newborn sessions?

Here are 5 quick tips to help you prep and feel less stressed!:
⁠
1. Pick out your outfits beforehand. Make sure you have picked your outfits out a week or so in advance. Even before your baby arrives. This will help your stress and then you won’t be running around last minute trying to grab outfits for your family.⁠
⁠
2. Ask for help! 🙋🏻‍♀️Always! Have a family member or close friend come over to hold your baby while you get ready, help with the kids or even stay during the session to keep the big kids entertained once they are done.⁠
⁠
3. Make sure you pull out the iron for bedding outfits and even those sweet swaddles! Mark one thing off your to do list. Iron a day or two before so you do not have to worry about this the day of your session.⁠
⁠
4. Feed your baby 30 minutes beforehand. 🍼 Yes, make sure your baby is good and full. Start a feed about 30 minutes before and this will allow you to have time to freshen up!
⁠
5. Take a deep breath, and relax. Mama your family, kids, and specifically your newborn can sense the stress. The more relaxed you are, the more relaxed they will be. Let me take care of the hard stuff!⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠

I get asked this question often. It is really is personal preference!⁠

I love seeing kid’s at all different ages hung together, and truth is you can always photograph the young ones again at a specific age.⁠

I get asked this question often. Though there is no “perfect” age to capture your little one, I do recommend that they are able to sit on their own. ⁠

This means around 6-9 months.⁠
