Our Story

As a high school junior (2009), Karrissa started yearbook class just as a extra class. She never thought that photography would be her new found love. She connected with the teacher as a mentor and advocate. Before she took yearbook, she had dabbled in photoshop in another class, where the teacher was equally enthusiastic about the class. These two teachers have motivated Karrissa to become a photographer. By 2011 Karrissa had decided to make photography her career.

Karrissa had been accepted to a great school for photography and started right away. Texas A&M-Commerce was hours away from home but it never felt as though she left. Small towns, rowdy kids, photography inspiration around every corner, and new friends to model. Commerce was where she learned much more about settings, lighting, editing, etc. to help mold her to where she is today.

Great teachers in high school and college have helped Karrissa stay motivated and continue strong. Karrissa has met several inspirational people along the way to help guide her. Great clients have made it easy for Karrissa and she can’t wait to meet more!
