We love when brides choose to step out of the box and add bright colors to their wedding day! Although the classic black and white will always have a place in our hearts, the addition of colors makes our creativity shine. We adore seeing guests play on the color palette too and wearing unexpected shades as well!

It was an absolute joy planning Carmen & Hugh’s wedding! The couple’s use of bright colors added such a vibrant touch, perfectly complementing the timeless and classy elegance of their celebration. We absolutely loved the little details like the Lady and the Tramp cake topper and the edible florals in the champagne tower. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Our team works incredibly hard to ensure our couples have a day that’s as close to a fairytale as possible. It means the world when that effort is recognized! Below is a quick snippet from Amy that summarizes things:

“We received so many compliments from guests about how beautiful and well-coordinated everything was. Days after our wedding, I was solidified in my greatest vendor decision of choosing Keestone. Our best man was talking to my husband on speakerphone, recapping the wedding – I overheard them having a FULL 3 minute conversation on solely the topic of how great our planner was. They couldn’t get over how composed, quick, and on top of it Steph was all day (15+ hours). If even the boys notice, you can only imagine the appreciation as a bride planning for 12 months. We’re closing out the year with Leah + Thomas today.

2023 has been our busiest year yet and we are so thankful for the trust our clients have placed with us.

We’ll be taking a short break to celebrate the season, before resuming business as usual.

We're often asked just what our services entail and here's a quick breakdown: ⁠⁠

1. Full Planning - we start from the moment we're hired, whether it's helping source a venue, coming up with a design board, or finding the right caterer to execute your dream menu.⁠⁠

2. Partial Planning - we come in six months prior to your wedding date. Most couples will typically have their venue by now and we help fill in any missing gaps. ⁠⁠

3. Quarter Planning - you guessed it, we come in three months prior. It's a bit more than the month-of coordination but if waiting until the month before causes sweating, we come in earlier so there's ample time to take over without feeling rushed. ⁠⁠

4. Month-of-Coordination - also known as day-of-coordination. We start a month prior since no one can magically show up on the wedding day and just take over. ⁠⁠But if you have heard of someone who can do that, please introduce us so we can add that superhuman to our team 😂

It also doesn’t hurt that the Arboretum’s impeccably manicured spaces make it hard to take a bad picture anywhere. And the cherry on top? Dallas weather played nice that day!

Reminiscing back to the beautiful wedding of and where it was dripping flowers, personality and culture.

So much thought was put into every aspect. One of our favorite details was their AMAZING seating chart that also tied into their table numbers, with favorite passages from beloved books printed. It also helped make for a great conversation piece!

Throwback to the loveliest spring wedding with perfect weather (the high was a dreamy 85 degrees that day!) for Laura + Cale.

There were a few sentimental moments that were incorporated to their wedding day, from a family Bible that all the women on Laura’s mother’s side carried on their respective wedding days. A sixpence was also glued to Laura’s shoe, for good luck.

Cale’s wedding band was the one his mother gave to his father, which has now been passed onto him, with the initials and wedding dates engraved on the inside.

It was also really meaningful for the couple to have Cale’s brother-in-law officiate the wedding.

We adore a good engagement session, and Mikayla + Collin’s is one we have been enamored with recently. ( never fails to deliver!)

Not only does it look like they stepped out of a pages of a fashion magazine, but it was such a unique concept too. The couple drove a convertible along the California coastline which not only provided breathtaking views, but made things fun.

We cannot wait to show you what we’ve been planning with this duo for their destination wedding in Italy next year. Stay tuned!

When your reception looks like it’s straight out of a fairytale…

Speaking of fairytales, Haley + Harry had the most whimsical day-of paper, from their welcome sign to table numbers to menu and place cards, designed courtesy of a very talented friend. It was so unique and matched their personalities perfectly! Swipe to view.

Natalie + Andrew’s wedding was one for the books, with a plethora of elements unique to them both. A few favorite details of the day from Natalie were:

“The giant "And So It Begins" wall with the seating chart was one of my favorite features. It was very grand, and set the scene of the room, but also made a great backdrop for my guests to take photos. We did signature cocktails for our four legged daughters that were a hit. Andrew's drink "The Lily" was a nod to his canadian heritage, and my drink "The Ru" was our family's signature cocktail, "The Beas Knees". Lily and Ru also made an appearance on our wedding cake!”

Some other moments that were important to Natalie was that her late mother be honored during the day. “Butterflies are how I see my mom in everyday life. Every bridesmaid had a butterfly on their bouquet. Also, during the ceremony, my flower girls rang bells instead of dropping flower petals. This was used as a reminder of those who weren't there in person.”

Let’s talk head tables today.

Pictured is Jasmine + Qahir’s, which is still an all-time favorite.

If linens aren’t your thing, consider linenless tables like wooden farm tables or something like this mirrored one Jasmine opted for. To complete the look, lush centerpieces with tapered candles lined surface.

The color palette for the wedding was black, white and forrest green, with accents of gold. Black is a strong color, so that was employed sparingly through the dinner plates and candle holders. The menu card was a deep green, wrapped in vellum, tied with a black ribbon and topped with a gold wax seal.

The place cards were a unique detail that was a lot of fun. These were made of acrylic, filled with pressed flowers inside, with white calligraphy depicting guest names on the top. These pressed petals were the same colors/types of flowers that the florist utilized for the day, which was a really nice way to tie things together.

A glimpse at a favorite spring wedding we did earlier this year.

The flowers at the Arboretum did not fail to be on full display that day, and it made for the most magical backdrop for Elizabeth + Joe.

This couple had such a fun wedding gallery! Both met swing dancing, and you could see them incorporate their mutual love for dance throughout, with graceful moves, footwork and spins!

“The entire wedding ceremony. It was intimate, romantic and full of so much love. Our best friends and siblings were standing next to us, while my uncle married us in front of our parents, family and closest friends. Everyone was smiling and feeling the love! It was as close to a perfect moment as I can imagine!”

Jasmine + Qahir had a wedding day for the books! Not only do they radiate a joy and humor that effortlessly pulls others towards them, they are immensely kind, fun and so in love with the other. It also doesn’t hurt that they have a real eye for style! Their ceremony was one we’ll remember for a while, with a Bible reading from Jasmine’s grandmother and Quran reading from Qahir’s mother. We also had an incredibly diverse menu, courtesy of Wolfgang Puck, that reflected the couple’s background and travels, from crispy roti, to chicken wing “lollipops” to pani puri lamb tacos with chutney and Hong Kong style fish to name a few. Jasmine really appreciates modern, clean lines and full blooms which was reflected all over the gardens of the Nasher. We had flowers growing inside clear acrylic pedestals, wall adornments, and lush arrangements throughout all the tables. Working with couples like them, we will never retire. You’ll see us at 80 still planning, albeit a bit slower.

McKenna + Luke’s wedding had it all, friends and family, gorgeous details, a packed dance floor, and even a surprise cake for the groom!

When you’re making your guest list, ask yourself, “In 5 years, would this person still be invited?” If the answer is no, remove them from your list. ASSIGNED SEATING When you opt for open seating, you have to build in extra seats, which can sometimes mean an extra table, which = extra flowers = extra table settings = more $$! Save your guests (and your planner) the headache of trying to call dibs on a seat day-of! FRIENDS AND FAMILY AS OFFICIANTS We love to see it! Cheers to 2021! 🥂 While there were dark moments in 2020, there were also a few bright spots for us. We learned to adapt quickly, pivot where we needed and are grateful for the strong tribe we have surrounded ourselves with. We are hopeful for a brighter year ahead and are looking forward to celebrating with all our 2021 couples!

I've been keeping a low profile these past few weeks helping plan The Brides of North Texas's 10th Anniversary celebration. It was one of the best feelings seeing all the late nights come to fruition with all the vendors hard at work setting up.
