Dessert bars are very trendy these days and I can see why. They are so scrumptious and they offer a wide variety of different pastries. This beautiful couple had macarons, cake pops, and minicakes. They chose fruity flavors like lemon, raspberry, and mango. How pretty are they?

Congratulations to Lauren and Reed who celebrated their wedding at The Springs Tuscany venue in Anna tonight! They are sweetest young couple ever! I got to catch a glimpse of Lauren as I was setting up their cakes and she was stunning! I almost never get to see my brides when I setup the cakes because I usually get there a couple of hours prior to their reception but I did see my bride tonight! She was beautiful!

I had been excited about creating these muted pink hues! I wasn’t sure how to go about creating them but eventually, after a little research I learned that by adding a little gray, blue, or even green you can achieve these pretty colors. Basically you tone down the intensity of the color. Loved how this turned out!

Black and gold majestic beauty! She is tall, dark and gorgeous! The sails are rice paper and I love how they add such natural movement to the cake! Chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream on the bottom tier and chocolate cake with espresso buttercream on the top tier!
