Chef Bajsel (pronounced Basil) is an up and coming chef on the Dallas culinary scene. Her vision is to create high quality, flavorful dishes that cross international borders in a fun, playful, visually appealing way

. Chef Bajsel's specialty is sauces. She creates incredible sauces to compliment and heighten the flavor of any dish. She likes to play with wine, beer and spirits to create her sauces and she herself is a little bit saucy, hence the "Getting Saucy" name. Chef Jennifer Bajsel is very flexible with her menus and loves to be creative. With a variety of menus and cooking styles to choose from Chef Bajsel will make your event special. Chef Bajsel is available for private dinners to large events and will even do "in-home" cooking classes.

Think you know Chef Bajsel? Experience is one of life's greatest motivator and teacher; and the passion Chef Bajsel shows daily - whether in her culinary creations or her community work - is a testament to her core beliefs as a chef.

Jennifer Bajsel, local DFW private chef and owner of the personal chef/boutique catering company Getting Saucy, began her professional cooking career in 2011, as she pursued her professional culinary degree at The International School of Culinary Arts at The Art Institute of Dallas. One year into her culinary education, Bajsel began working under her mentor, well-known Dallas chef John Tesar, at his restaurant Spoon Bar & Kitchen. Other culinary positions include serving as the kitchen manager for Chino Chinatown, the lead culinary expert at Williams Sonoma, a kitchen assistant at Sur La Table and Supervisor at Mac’s Place on SMU’s campus.

Chef Bajsel is a strong food advocate promoting utilization of organic, non-GMO ingredients from local sustainable farms, and promotes animal and environmental welfare. Because she is a , her work also involves volunteering for the North Texas Food Bank and a great supporter of our organization!
