One Pot Dish
Original One Pot Meal
Here’s the recipe for cabbage stew there are many versions to do this. For this version, cut one head of cabbage into pieces stir fry in large stew pot high heat in oil 1 to 2 tablespoons stir frequently add other vegetables one at a time starting with the most hardest vegetables such as carrots cook for 5 minutes between each addition and stir in each add onions when onion one bell pepper and any additional vegetables stir fry all ingredients until semi cooked add seasonings old bay onion powder, garlic granules, red pepper flakes, herb d Provence, Salt and pepper about a teaspoon of each seasoning and a Tablespoon of granulated garlic and pinch of sugar to taste. All seasoning are optional. Don’t sweat it if you don’t have them all. Make it your own. Then in another pan brown ground Italian sausage spicy or regular (Or sliced polish sausage) according to your taste once that’s done add 2 tablespoons of butter to your cabbage drain Italian sausage and add to cabbage and 1 can of vegetable or chicken broth or stock. Simmer cabbage on low heat to desired tenderness (top off with 1/2 cup of vinegar or white wine)Serve with cornbread. Now that’s easy as 123 Enjoy bon appétit!
