I’m feeling a quirky Thanksgiving table this year 🦃🤪But who am I kidding? Quirk is my middle name so expect nothing less than mismatched patterns and every color of the rainbow 😂

In all seriousness though, it can be so easy to get caught up in the hoopla of having a fancy Thanksgiving table, making an extravagant meal and being the perfect hostess. Don’t do it girl!

This Thanksgiving, I’m challenging myself (and you!) to focus on what matters most. That means decorating your table with items you already have (more on that later 😉) and being intentional with how you spend time with your family❤️

My family will likely watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade together, play some games and spend some time outside in the sun ☀️

I’m back! 😊 Taking time to rest and refocus can help you see your vision much more clearly; vision for who you want to be as a person, spouse, parent, business owner, friend… the list goes on and on. So here I am, 5 months later with a clearer vision for where I’m heading and the energy to get moving!

I’m so excited for the next Mommy & Me pop up! If having a luxury picnic wasn’t enough (charcuterie anyone?!), to add the cherry on top will lead us in making take-home sensory kits! She is a homeschool mama of 3, fellow ministry wife and one of the most creative people I’ve met! Ya’ll, she leads a sensory play lab in her home 🤯 Your kiddo will take home the sweetest kit that provides endless play and creative time… and maybe some quiet time for mama as well 🙂 Isn’t her stuff the cutest?! It’s never too late to make a bucket list! Spring is right around the corner and I’m here for it! 🌸🌻

Around here, I’m constantly preaching about being intentional with relationships but it’s because I believe it’s important. Life is SHORT you guys and if we’re not intentional, we can get swept up in the busyness. Have you ever been so preoccupied with getting things done that you realize a month (or 2,3…) has gone by and you haven’t spent any meaningful time connecting with your loved ones? 🙋🏽‍♀️Guilty as charged. This is why I started Gather + Gab ❤️ I want to make it easy for you to connect with your people in a fun way! You won’t ever regret investing in your relationships 😊

And while picnics are an awesome way to connect with your loved ones, that’s not the only way. It can be as simple as a glass of wine and good conversation or a playground play date. So, I’m practicing what I’m preaching and posting my monthly bucket list of items: ways I’m intentionally loving on my people and myself. Here’s what’s on my March bucket list:

Let’s talk Galentine’s! Do you like to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your besties? IMO, it’s one of the best ways to spend the day ❤️ Nothing better than dinner, drinks and fun convo!

If your besties don’t live super close, a handwritten letter or postcard can be the perfect way to spread the love from a distance 😊

Consider this a friendly challenge to send an encouraging card to a friend via snail mail by Valentine’s Day! It will brighten their day and yours too!

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I’m so here for it!Honestly who doesn’t love being loved on?!

If you’re looking for an easy (and super cheap!) way to show extra love to your kiddos this year, try this! Get some construction paper or notecards and either cut them into hearts or draw hearts on them ❤️ On each one, write something you love about your child. I usually do 14 cards for each kid and give them one per day starting on February 1st. You could also just do it the week leading up to Valentine’s Day 😊 Every morning, put it somewhere they’ll see it so they have a special affirmation to start their day. I keep it simple and tape them to the bedroom door. It’s such a simple thing but has made a big impact on my boys ❤️

Happy New Year!!! I’ve been MIA for awhile trying to nurse my family back to health after having all the things! Rsv, flu, strep… you name it, we’ve had it! I’m grateful we’re finally on the mend though and so excited for what 2023 will bring 🎉I’ve been planning away and have so many fun things coming this year!!! Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement of the next pop-up!!
