I still have a few roles to fill for the upcoming "Killer Klowns from Outer Space Invade Dalton Ghost Tours" event coming up in October. There are a few klown roles, a Sheriff, and a few teenager types... Commitment includes a photo shoot, a commercial shoot, two to three practices, light memorization, and four performances. This will be FUN and there will be PERKS (merch., food, camera credits) but this isn't a paid position. When my three children were young I prayed constantly for their safety, good choices, good health - for everything! Since before Day 1. I thought, back then, that it would be easier when they were adults. Easier, in that, I wouldn't have to worry about them experimenting with "parkour" or "what if someone offers them drugs" or an ENDLESS list of things I didn't want to happen... Adam and Aaron are now 26, and Lexi is 25. I'm blessed by who each of them have become, and SO proud of them, and SO filled with love for them. God has ALWAYS been good to us through thick and thin. But I can't say it is "easier" now that they are adults. It's just different. I pray for them all the time... and always will. I already pray for my future grandchildren.

I just got a call from my friend Andy Turner... who was having a cookout with Yano Anaya. Andy knows I love the movie "A Christmas Story" - so he called to introduce me to Yano, who plays one of the bullies in "A Christmas Story!" Apparently Yano is also heavily associated with pickles (in general) b/c of his character in the movie - Grover Dill... Andy had heard about Dalton's upcoming North Georgia Fried Pickle Festival and was asking about it... Don't you guys think it would be fun to have "Grover Dill" make an appearance?! I do... :)

I just uploaded an interview I did with David L. Sloan to the Dalton Ghost Tours FB page... David, an author and Key West historian, is also the handler of the infamous Robert the Doll... If you're in the mood for something spooky ahead of this weekend's Full Moon tours with Dalton Ghost Tours, give it a watch! If you don't know about Robert, you're in for a chilling treat! I know you are familiar with Chucky (the doll) - Chucky was based on Robert.
