It’s back to the doctor for me this Thursday. I finally feel like I am rebounding from Covid and I look forward to returning to the shop next week to get some painting therapy under my belt. Thanks for the prayers, everyone. They truly have made a difference. ❤️

Good morning, Peeps! I hate I have been under the weather this month. Covid was no joke for me. It was my second experience having it and by far the most challenging time. It will take a bit to get my energy back, but I am grateful to finally feel like I’m on the mend.

IMPORTANT FAVOR: If you ordered a Crown(s), would you mind waiting to pick them up next week and not this week?

The reason I’ve been missing in action is I caught Covid several days ago, and it has been rough. I’m better, but still not 100%.

Friends, I have been missing in action for a couple weeks due to illness, but thankfully, I’m slowly gaining back my energy.

My goal is to finish painting all pending Crown orders next week. If you ordered them unpainted, they will also be ready to pick up as well next week. Crowns were $45 painted and $25 unpainted (local pick up only/scarves not included). If you did not Venmo, please pay in-store at Bobbie's Florist & Gifts/Refind Designs when you come to get yours.

THE CROWN ~ God’s plan is perfect, not always painless, but perfect still. I wanted to share the story of the crown with you all one last time.

——March 16, 2023 ~ I am often asked to share “The Crown Story,” so here it is:

Late one night, not too long after Rana’s passing, I was in the shop and I was an emotional mess. Alone and sobbing my heart out, missing Rana very much, I was trying to drown myself in bottles of paint. As I painted, with praise and worship cranked up loudly, I began to pray for God to help me to make it through another day without her. I begged Him to help me to ”Be Still, so I could know” and to remind me that His plan was perfect, not always painless, but perfect still.

As I painted, I began to scribble with my brush on a notepad I used to write orders on. In anguish, I was doodling circles and X’s and slash marks without really paying attention. When I finally couldn’t cry anymore, I noticed my drawing appeared to be a crown with three rusty nails.

It was then that I remembered Rana telling me in the hospital on a really trying day that Jesus had bore thorns and nails for her, so she would gladly find the strength and keep the faith to do all she could for him. She said He had endured the greatest suffering for her and no matter what she endured, it could never compare to Jesus’s pain.

The next day, I sent my scratched drawing to my wood vendor to create this beautiful design. This design is my constant reminder that God’s plan is perfect, despite any pain, because His suffering made a way for eternal life.

Jesus suffered more than I can ever imagine, wearing a wreath of thorns upon His head and nails piercing His body. His blood is my hope. It’s my promise of eternal Salvation. It’s my peace beyond understanding! It’s my daily reminder of His love for me and the world.

I’ve jabbed my hands and scratched my skin on the sharp points of this design many times, and I’ve prayed over every single crown I have ever been honored to paint. I pray every time, it moves others the way it moves me.
