When you granddaughter has a solar system project to do for school and another wants to paint a gift for her teacher, you gather supplies and take a 2 hour drive to make it happen.
Charlie allowed me to watch and suggest ideas, but she refused to let me touch her planets!
She did a great job, while singing a planet song a boo-coo of times. I went to sleep dreaming about all of the planets, like a 3rd grader. 🤣
Good morning, everyone!! Yesterday, I had a “body check” in an effort to stay on top of skincare due to the many sunburns I received when I was young. I bet some of you have been there too.
I had three biopsies—two on my chest and one on my nose. Plus, I need basal cell topical treatment across my forehead, so if you see me out wearing my witch nose a little early for Halloween, you know!
I’ll try not to scare your children!

Painting is so much fun! I painted these flowers without a reference photo or presketching, intentionally pretending I am an artist who is talented enough to look at a blank canvas and create something art worthy and pleasing to the eye.
