We at Stokes Arts have had very heavy hearts this week, awaiting positive news on the Mayor of Danbury, Janet Whitt. Our heavy hearts continue in her passing on Friday. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.

Stokes Arts Executive Director Eddy McGee gave a few words followed by a moment of silence honoring Mayor Whitt and her support of Stokes Arts and LOVE of everything Danbury, NC prior to the start of this evening’s Mike Farris Concert

We were so honored to host the Star Gazers Uniquely Gifted and Talented Visual and Theatre Arts Camp. The week ended with "Goldilocks, Goldilocks And The Bears"

Stokes County Appalachian Musician Recital this evening!

Mars Hill University Bailey Mountain Cloggers, Stokes County Arts Council and Stokes County Schools partnered this week with Arts Education programming in Stokes Elementary Schools.
