Calling all writers, artists, musicians, dancers, and photographers! Are you interested in publishing your work for a community audience? The Rotary Club wants to celebrate your voice!

The Newtown and Danbury Rotary Clubs are looking for submissions of writing, art, photography and original music for a publication that highlights student voices. Pieces from Newtown High School and Danbury High School students will be featured in a bound book distributed in both communities. This is a great opportunity to have your work recognized!

Pieces can be any genre and on any topic. They should be submitted via email to Mrs. Marks in the English Department ([email protected]) up through December 22nd.

Written pieces (essays, stories, poetry, etc.) should be 1000 words or less and shared via Google Doc. Writing may also be submitted in languages other than English with an English translation.

Art or photography should be submitted as pdfs or jpegs.

Original music or dance performances may be shared via online link, which will be converted to a scannable QR code in the publication.
