Service Information

* Buffet service, which includes delivery, set-up, and table linens for buffet tables.
*Clean up service is only provided for items that we provide to your event which includes clearing dinnerware from guest tables.
*Buffet tables will be decorated to coordinate with the event theme.
*We provide options for disposable and china service. China service is billed separately.
*Lef

t over food on the buffet will be properly packaged, labeled, and refrigerated for you. We do not assume liability on the leftover food.
*An approximate guest count is requested at the time the event is booked. A final guest count is required 10 days prior to the event.
* Hall fees and surcharges are extra.
*Michigan sales tax is not included in prices quoted.
*Gratuity will be built into the invoice.

I have been catering breakfast for a local organization and decided to try Cheryl Day's Cheese Scallion biscuit recipe from King Arthur Flour's website. It was good, but I will add granulated garlic for extra flavor next time.

I found a peanut butter bourbon cookie recipe on the Baker By Nature blog site. Tried the recipe, the only change I made was swapping out regular Bourbon with Ugly Dog Peanut Butter Bourbon which is not as strong tasting as regular Bourbon. These cookies are pretty tasty. Tomorrow I am going to try her Butter pecan Bourbon cookies.

Played around with a chocolate peanut butter filled cupcake recipe. I replaced the water in the chocolate cupcake recipe with Ugly Dog Peanut Butter Bourbon. Added the same bourbon to the peanut butter filling and chocolate ganache recipes. It turned out quite tasty.

I received the nicest thank note from Gabe and Sarah. They wanted me to know how much they appreciated the food and the service we provided at their wedding reception. But what touched my heart was the comment that everyone loved the Banana Bread. My catering company is named after my Mom and at most events I bake her banana bread recipe.

During our Disney trip I went to Gideon Bakery. I really like their peanut butter cookie. I decided to attempt to make a similar version. I adapted Magnolia bakery (not Joanna Gaines) peanut butter cookie recipe. I made candied peanuts and added to the recipe. I am very pleased.
