Elysium was happy to host the lovely Wedding of Cherokee and Dayton on Saturday. The couple chose to be married on the landing of the Grand Staircase, which was covered in fresh flowers in fall colors. The waiting Groom got his first look at his beautiful Bride as she was escorted down the aisle to meet him at the staircase. A fun reception and good food followed the ceremony. We wish them much happiness as they begin their future together.

The eagerly waiting Groom got his “first look” at his stunning Bride as she crossed the rose covered Bridge leading to the flower covered Pavilion, where the two exchanged vows in front of family and friends. The reception followed with great food, fun and dancing. We wish them much happiness as they begin their lives together!

Elysium was happy to host the Wedding of Hannah and Andy last week. The saying goes, “Good Luck follows the Bride who has rain on her Wedding Day”… it would be safe to say this sweet couple should have loads of good luck, as almost 9.5 inches of rain fell on top of Elysium in a 48 hour period last weekend. Needless to say, while an outside Ceremony was planned, we had also run an “inside” ceremony Rehearsal as well. So, the eagerly waiting Groom got his first look at his lovely Bride as she approached, and was met by him, at the Grand Staircase. The staircase was adorned with fresh flowers and the ceremony continued on the Stairs landing. Bridal party pictures were taken in the raked, dusted and clean hallway of the Horse barn side of Elysium while the horses watched from their stalls. Great food and a fun Reception followed.

We wish this sweet couple much happiness as they begin their lives together.

Elysium was proud to host the sweet Wedding of Mckenzi and Drennon on Saturday. The long awaited rain we have needed for a while on the Farm, chose to arrive 3 hours before our outside planned Ceremony on the flower covered Pavilion…so, 30 minutes before the ceremony, while the rain still poured down, we swiftly went to the “inside” Wedding plan. Then.. the rain stopped, 10 minutes before ceremony time! So we quickly toweled off the wet benches, and switched again back to the Pavilion, where the Groom eagerly awaited his First Look at his beautiful Bride! While “FlowerbyKelly” (Me😊) did all the flowers, most of the special zinnias were grown by her family and brought for me to add into her decor and bouquets. The result was a beautiful splash of lots of colors that worked out beautiful!

We wish them much happiness as they begin their life together!
