Its a TWO-FER tonight! This will forever be one of my most favorite sessions ever....some of my favorite things in this....water, gorgeous sunlight and the funnest, most real and down to earth family that always want me to just capture their real life and the things that they love to do...like just being together and fishing! I would say on average that most people get roughly 100 images depending on how long sesh is or how funny and fun the subjects are. This family ended up with 199 and to top it off....we shot on a fishing boat in the same anchored spot that just spun in a gentle circle. Wind blown hair at it's finest too! Well Miss Henley just gets sassier and has more personality than most humans and so there are soooo many faces and silliness from her! The last couple of shots of her mom and dad...she snapped herself with my camera:) Thank you Bree and Alan for wanting to do sessions a tad out of the box. Makes this photog's heart so happy! So friends....schedule a sesh with me on your boat, at your farm, on the beach, camping, making s'mores, playing in a sprinkler, playing a game, having a snowball fight.....any and all every day things can be MAGIC!

Hi folks! Can you believe this amazing weather today! I thought I would share a colorful senior sesh for then if I remember in a bit, I will post a family sesh that will forever hands down be an all time fave!
This is the beautiful Isabelle! She is a senior on the "southside" of Indy and a baller! She wanted something different than the norm for her area so we added in some cute fuzzy cows, gorgeous fall color and the prettiest farm! Thanks Jennifer:)

Hi friends...it's been a few....wanted to pop on and share a sesh that I posted about on my personal page because friends were asking to see the finished product. Well here they are!!! Jude's hunting sesh is hands down one of my faves in 16 years. He had all kinds of ideas which I LOVED! I love snapping pics for seniors that want to show off their interests and passions. Friends send all the hunters my way....I love being outside in nature and these are right up my alley. Thanks Jude for being so fun and having so many ideas and thanks to his mom Teresa for driving us all over the property and making sure we stayed safe and I didn't fall down the ravine! hahaha

I wanted to share a session that had so much joy and sunshine in it that you couldn't help but smile even though we are all praying for our friends and family to the south. The Koors family were so sweet and pretty sure these shots are magazine worthy because the whole family could model! Especially the mom/daughter hat shot! Oh my stars I need to send it in somewhere...they could help sell the snot outta those hats! Enjoy the joy in these folks!

It's been a couple weeks since I've posted and while I am back in CRAZY full swing snapping pics for not only seniors but also all my families, it is and I will post a senior then will try and highlight later in the week of some of my awesome families I have had.
I am going to share Brooke's 2nd sesh. We did her first one at the 4H fair but the 2nd one she had a vision and we nailed it! The only thing I wish we had had was some sun....it was breezy and cloudy but we made the best of it and I couldn't love this girl or these shots anymore! Give me a girl in a long flowy dress + a field of tall grasses and wildflowers = a happy photog!!! Maybe add in the most magnificent buttocks basket (yes that is it's proper name if you aren't an antique-er) full of an amazing flower
display and a bible....extra "sparkle" to the shots:)

Another Warrior for Senior Sunday! We did Annabelle's back in July when the creek still had water and it wasn't dry and crunchy out like we have had this week! ha Thankful for this rain over the next couple of days. Annabelle was so fun. She brought her bestie so they could get a few pics together as well as having some fun in the creek. I've said it before but any time a sesh includes water, I am a happy photog:)

Listen folks...I know y'all must be thinking I only snap pics of seniors anymore because that is all I post. NOPE! I still do families, newborns, maternity, a handful of weddings and some other fun adventures when they come my way. BUT these are my people right here...Alexa & Ben! I see photographers posting all these amazing shots of couples and they ooze sexiness and smolder and every now and again I get those peeps...couples like Alexa & Ben are my jam!!! They love to laugh, have fun, are hilarious and just keep it light and not heavy and serious. Give me people like this every darn day! I love to laugh and these two always have me rolling. Their wedding was the day before Christmas Eve when we had blizzard like conditions! Their baby girl made her debut this week and I am still waiting for the invite over so I can snuggle the snot outta her...but here are some fun shots while she was still cooking in the oven!

The Warriors played the Cadets in soccer for both girls & boys tonight so I'll post some pics of Warrior soccer twins! Shelby & Colby! Let's be realistic here and realize this sesh was all for Shelby, which she rocked her shots and Colby reluctantly tagged along! haha We had a little more fun towards end and we caught some great smiles from Colby. While I didn't get to see Shelby and the Warriors get the 5-0 win tonight as the girls played at Cascade... I traveled a few minutes over to the boys game at Danville. Colby was a force to be reckoned with on the field. It was a great, physical game but the Cadets came away with the 3-1 victory.

Ben & Cam....you all know I'm partial to swimmers:) So here is one last photo shoot inside the Danville pool before it was permanently shut down...FOREVER. They are building a new pool and some things arose that the old pool needed to close so we were able to get in the day before they shut it down to do their pics. While the pool at Cascade will always be my first "home", the Danville pool was my 2nd home for 7 years. Lots of great memories there and I am sad it will be gone but excited for the Warriors to have a new pool! We had some fun playing with available light in and around the pool and of course got a little silly and had fun. Boys I am looking forward to seeing you at meets this season. I know what this group of boys are capable of and I am excited for them!

We are going to move into my "Danville Era" for a bit. I have several Warriors that need posted. I am slacking in getting pics up on APP because it's just so crazy busy right now.
Oh Annie, you and my Emma are kindred spirits! This girl is who she says she is, tells it like it is, bold in her thoughts and is just my kinda girl! What a fabulous time we had doing her pics with her mom, aunt and let us not forget about her adorable dog:)
I have been trying to snap pics with a different set of eyes this past year and looking at light in more than just one way....I think we nailed what I had in my head for a few of my more out of norm shots! Annie you are just a gem!

is still in it's soccer era over here on APP! ha When you get asked "Hey I know it's probably too far but how would you feel about driving to ***** to snap senior pics with his grandpa's Camaro?" Ummm you don't hesitate, you just say "Heck YES!" That beautiful piece of machinery was so bright and shiny that I couldn't resist trying to get a tad more creative with "car" pics and capturing some reflections in it.
People....teen boys are often NOT excited about senior pics like us moms and dads are BUT when you can incorporate the people, places and things that they love....well you might just end up with a kid that actually really had fun doing it.
Max wanted his Grandpa in some shots and they even had matching shirts...oh my heart! It was the sweetest thing ever! So many great shots it was hard to pick just some. There were some other fun moments but I will leave that to Ada to hopefully post them sometime later.
Max I have yelled your name and cheered for you just as loud as I have & do for either of my nephews. I get so excited when I see you running lightning fast down the side of the field and want you to score a dang goal every time. I'm gonna be so sad not seeing you flash right by us next year but for the next several weeks I'll be rooting for you to keep going...for another week:)

Here is Anna's part of the sesh. Lane was making her laugh quite a bit and I had to yell at him to get right over my shoulder so she would look my direction for some of the shots! hahahaha
Oh Anna....you are such a beauty. Lane & Anna have been dating since 8th grade....kinda like another awesome couple I know;) I have loved watching her blossom and grow into this amazing human. She is soft spoken but yet such a presence on the soccer field, she is loyal and holds all those around her to a higher standard. Can't wait to watch you play in your next chapter!!!! Aunt Amy is so proud of you too!

My nephew Lane J was nominated for Indy Star IHSAA boys soccer player of the week and we are all so proud of him, his work ethic and that he was even recognized this week. So I thought I would share some senior pics of him. It was really his GF Anna senior sesh and she sweet talked him into tagging along and getting some with her so of course I made him snap a few by himself and he obliged without a fuss:) I will post Anna's pics another night because hers are soooo good!!!
This kid loves the game of soccer but more importantly he LOVES his teammates. He is humble, unselfish on the field, is so game smart and looks for the best routes and options to pass the ball to his teammates or to take it to the net. I am def biased but this kid is something special. Lane J, Aunt Amy couldn't be more proud of who you are. Keep working!!!!

I snapped pics for this amazing kiddo several weeks ago and am just now getting around to posting some of his sesh. Mathias is one of the most determined, resilient and relentless kids I have ever met. He is going to go out and do BIG things to help others as an adult. As my friend Stacy Mayes would say....Be BIG Mathias!

Senior Sunday Swimming edition still going strong!! Katianne is one of the most creative, talented & kindhearted kids I know and wanted to add in some super special touches into her sesh. I don't do a lot of sessions with "props" very often so this was so fun to get out of my norm for her and I think she nailed her vision for her session. What do you all think!?

Oh Isabelle...another one of "my kids" all grown up. She's came to us all quiet and now we can't get her to not talk! hahaha. She is such a hard worker, a leader, she's funny and is also one of the few inside Emma's inner circle and I am forever grateful for the girls that Emma has closest to her. Gosh did we have so much fun snapping these. She rocked her bright pink dress in that creek and can whip her skirt back and forth like a freakin professional!

I have been posting all my girls and haven't posted any of my guys so here is Eston! It is always so fun getting to snap pics for seniors at their own houses/properties and their property did not disappoint! The switch grass that they planted by seed themselves was AMAZING and just magical. I loved getting to snap pics of Eston doing some of the things he loves...the outdoors, hunting and riding his dirt bike.
