Truck or Treat 2023! The weather moved us indoors, but it did not stop an afternoon full of fun, candy, and food. Huge thank you to all of the businesses, school clubs, and our work family here at Lafayette Engineering for making this event so awesome!
Don’t forget to join us on Sunday, October 29th from 4:00-6:00. Rain is in the forecast, but we will move all activities indoors if rain comes in. Games, trucks, and food will be provided. $10 per car that will be donated to a local non-profit organization.

Please bring a copy of your child’s supply list with you. Gate will open at 5:00. We will be serving hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Movie will start at 7:00 with popcorn, candy, & drinks for sale. If you want to attend just the movie please be onsite by 6:45. Don’t forget to bring your chairs and blankets. One of my favorite things about hosting events is seeing all the different themes and decor. Look at this adorable “Mushrooms & Snail” boho-themed baby shower that we hosted today in The Bay. Crystal L. Jones you did amazing on this precious set up today.

Who is ready for the weekend?!? Danville, Kentucky we are heading your way this Friday, 11/18. Stop in and visit the pretzel truck at The Showroom from11am-6pm to get your pretzel fix. We will be serving up all of our fresh favorites and also our DIY kits. Remember, this will be your ONLY chance to snag one as this is our last visit until 2023. Proceeds will also be benefitting Hals Haven so be sure to stop in and show your support!
TIS THE SEASON TO GIVE! The Showroom is accepting donations for items listed on flyer. We hope to deliver as many baskets as possible just in time for the holidays!
Trunk or Treat 2022 is in the books! Even though we had to make some adjustments and move indoors due to rain on Sunday we still had a wonderful event! Thank you to Boyle County Key Club, Rebels Rowdies, Kentucky Farm Bureau, Nature’s Nest, Boyle County FFA, Boyle County Baseball, Isaiah House,Lafayette Engineering employees, and all of the candidates that set up amazing trunks to make this event great! Also a huge thank you to Cole Henson and her awesome dancers for the Thriller performance. We were able to donate $1,000 to the cancer center chemo department & $1,000 to the radiation department with LEI matching the gate donations. Keep your eyes open for our Christmas drive in movie since we were unable to show Hocus Pocus due to rain. What is your families favorite holiday movie?
Thank you for all of the comments regarding Trunk or Treat! We have decided to go ahead and host our event tomorrow inside. Tables will be provided for each set up. We will start at 4:00 instead of 5:00 to accommodate more families.
The weather tomorrow is not in favor for an outdoor Trunk or Treat! We have 2 options that we are tossing around. We can continue with same date/time and move trunk or treat and food indoors. We would set up a table for each trunk in Showroom and food in Bay. Thriller would be performed as well in center of Showroom. The other option would be to move it to next Sunday. Please share your feedback and I will post the plan at 3:00 today. This year donations will be going to patients at Commonwealth Cancer center that are in need of gas and help getting to and from treatments. We will also be preparing Thanksgiving food baskets to distribute for families in need.

So many exciting additions to our Truck or Treat this year. We have had an amazing response to businesses wanting to set up trucks, Hocus Pocus will be playing on the big screen starting at 7:00, and we have collaborated with Cole Henson to present the Thriller performance at 6:30 & 6:45! This is going to be an exciting night here at the Showroom and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!

Back to School Bash 2022 is in the books! Last night we filled our Showroom with families & friends to love on the children in our community. We were able to provide 300 backpacks/supplies so these children are ready to return to the classroom next week. I would like to say thank you to the following companies/individuals that made this night possible: Lafayette Engineering, Power & Panel, Isaiah House, Nurture Nest Counseling, The Gross Group, Judge Coontz, Trillie Bottoms for Boyle County Judge Executive, Century Conveyor, Think of a Wonderful Trip by Chelsea Nash, and the employees here at LEI. I would also like to thank Ubounce Inflatables and The Scoop for providing fun and ice cream.
