It’s the little things for us. Event planning with Lagniappe is a full sensory experience, because everyone recalls in different ways. It’s not just the venue, vendors, and decor. Everything from the food served to music played and even the scent misted adds to the experience. The small things you can’t quite put your finger on but make you recall the event fondly.

One thing we’ve learned over the years in event planning is that your vendors make or break the event. Finding the right partners to execute our clients’ vision is our number one priority. And guess what? What works for one event, doesn’t always translate to ALL events, so it’s super important to have multiple tried and true vendors you know and trust so that any event is successful.

This is NOT MY WORK. This is an example of a typical inspiration picture clients send us.

FYI: Balloons are not the cheap route. People always ask for balloons thinking they are cutting on the cost, but good quality balloons that most balloon artists use are not cheap, but worth every penny.

In the lower Alabama area, balloon work can range anywhere from $15 per foot all the way up to $30 per foot. So, if you’re looking at a simple 12 foot balloon garland for your event, you’re looking at $180-360 not including setup and breakdown costs.

So, next time you’re planning an event and want balloons, keep this in mind. And if you’re thinking, “I’ll just save the money, order a kit from Amazon, and do it myself,” you’re going to be getting lower quality balloons that tend to pop more and have defects in the dye, causing your arrangement to look, well, like you did it on the cheap yourself from Amazon. Want people to be talking about how amazing your event decor looked AND not stress yourself? Hire a professional and leave all those details to us! Trust us, you’ll be glad you did! 🎈

The 2nd annual event raised $138,223 for the . won the $10,000 Nonprofit Challenge for having the most ascents up the hill by team members - 147!
