Capers in the Kitchen Capers in the Kitchen is a licensed catering company serving the Baldwin and Mobile County area. We have two restaurants under one roof!

Guido's has a chalkboard menu that changes daily for lunch and dinner. We keep some tried and true staples on both menus, but also enjoy creating new dishes featuring seasonal produce and seafood. Because we make everything fresh and in-house, we do not have a standard set menu. “The Board” allows us to be creative with our food, and gives our guests a taste of the best we have to offer. This was created in my home kitchen tonight,where Chef Kris and I test new recipes. Tonight a fusion of Summer Flavors. Tomatoes, Basil, & Videla Onions.
They work well alone with pasta or with many proteins.

For this dish we used this fresh sauce with chicken and saffron rice.

A review of a Special Occasion Meal Kit we prepared yesterday:

To celebrate our anniversary, my husband and I decided to look for a chef curated meal to cook at home. Capers in the Kitchen came through with an incredible meal for two (with some hearty leftovers). This is what we ended up with:

Choice of appetizer (we selected escargot)

Asiago Salad

Beef Braciole- Pounded Rolled Ribeye Stuffed with Carmelized Onions, Mushrooms, Roasted Garlic, & Gorgonzola Cheese

Mashed Potatoes

Italian Green Beans

Kahlua Tiramisu

They even included a nice bottle of Prosecco!

All was amazing. My photos, not so much, so I’ve opted to not include them here. The salad dressing was delicious and the Tiramisu might be the best I’ve ever had.

Our Story

We have two restaurants under one roof! Guido's has a chalkboard menu that changes daily for lunch and dinner. We keep some tried and true staples on both menus, but also enjoy creating new dishes featuring seasonal produce and seafood. “The Board” allows us to be creative with our food, and gives our guests a taste of the best we have to offer. Because we make everything fresh and in-house, we may occasionally sell out of an item shown on the board. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of other options to choose from! We also have a kid’s menu available, and take reservations for parties of 6 or more. You can keep up with the daily menus here on our page, and on Instagram and Twitter.
