Wow! Our North Carolina Fraser Fir trees are stunning this year and we are SO excited for you all to see them! They just arrived today and will be ready for purchase this weekend.

We have been waiting for this moment for some time as we tried different tree vendors in the past few years and are thrilled to have found one we truly love.

NEXT Thursday! Our annual holiday event to benefit Post 53 starts at 5 pm, Thursday November 14. Proceeds from ticket sales and 10% of all shopping that evening goes to Post 53. Attendees will also enjoy a 10% discount on their shopping!
This year, Post 53 needs all of our support to provide new reflective safety gear to respond to I-95 calls between Norwalk and Stamford. Their goal is $48,000, help us get them closer to reaching it. See our bio for ticket link.

A life so lived will never be forgotten.

A life so loved is a gift to those who were lucky enough to play some part in it.

Margaret Peters passed away on September 21, peacefully, near one of her daughters in Park City, Utah.

Margaret has worked for Nielsen’s on and off since 2007.

Most recently, she became the steward of the greenhouse, stoically taking care of the plants until one month before she passed, and bestowing plant advice upon all that entered.

We can’t emphasize enough what an amazing woman she was. From travel to opera and art, her life was full. A talented artist, she drew intricate designs of the plants and flowers she worked with.

Margaret greeted everyone with ‘hey babes’ and lit up the room when she entered. She did not let age or illness stop her from doing anything. We can all take that lesson from her. Her humor and wit were unmatched!

An inspiration, extraordinary, and courageous. These are just a few of the words we have used to describe Margaret and will continue to do, as we remember her, always.
