Took some time today to stop by for a late breakfast and some small business support. ❤️

DELICIOUS Horchata cold brew for me with a delicious Asiago bagel sandwich. Picture here is Katarinas breakfast sandwich on an onion bagel, with a coffee that the barista surprised her with.

For those of you who don't know, Bajas Cat Cafe in Tiverton RI has really been going through it. It is our duty as a community to lift these places up. It is a powerful way to fight against large corporations and keep our "mom and pop" shops open.

We see you, Bajas. We support you and are behind you 100%. Keep doing what you do, and we hope to see the kitty's back soon! 🐱❤️

If you have heard about Bajas Cafe and Rescue in Tiverton, you know how amazing that place is. It's a wonderful coffee shop, with delicious pastries and all of the kitties you can pet and adopt! 🐱❤️

In the last few years, Baja teamed up with Forever Paws to help adopt out cats that came from the shelter. However, Bajas began to take in other cats that needed homes as well and was able to care for them and find them new homes. Unfortunately, this practice was found unacceptable and they have shut her down and taken all the cats 😭😭😭... right before Christmas 🥺

In order for Bajas to get back up and running, they need to officially get the correct licenses to adopt and I'm sure, pay the fines that came along with this predicament.

This isn't a story of a corrupt business, or that of a business doing wrong by any means. This is the story of a business with a heart. A business who stretched out beyond their limits and did not deny any cute, adorable purrs that knocked on their door.

Please, if you have visited, even if you have not, have it in your heart to donate. At the very least, spread the word. We need to protect these small business, especially the ones who make impacts as large as Bajas Café and Rescue.

As a community, we CAN get Bajas back up and running. For the love of our furry pets, let's make this happen! 🙏🏾🥰
