Sunday's concert by the Celtic group Poisoned Dwarf was a huge success! Our first-ever sold out, capacity audience left with big smiles. The musicians commented afterwards what a beautiful space St. Alban's is in which to perform, and said the great energy of the audience gave them an extra spark. Many thanks to DavidsonLearns for their pre-concert talk with the musicians, and thanks to everyone who was in the audience for helping making it such a fun afternoon.

While we were eagerly anticipating the Queens Chamber Players performance on Sunday, November 19 at 3:00 pm, due to unforeseen circumstances they will not be able to join us. We are thrilled, however, to announce that the Black Mountain Trio will be gracing our stage instead on that same date and time, in a program of music by Beethoven, Coleridge-Taylor, and Mendelssohn.

The Black Mountain Trio is named to honor the vision of Black Mountain College, a vibrant artistic and educational institution that enriched the cultural history of North Carolina during the middle of the 20th century. Each member of the trio has dedicated a significant part of his career to the musical life of North Carolina and the Southeastern region of the United States. The trio has performed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Vermont and Ohio, as well as Beijing and Shenzhen, China.
Tickets previously purchased for this concert will remain valid. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

There were lots of smiling 3- and 4-year-olds on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, when Joey Rincon visited La Escuelita bilingual preschool in Davidson, NC. Sponsored by Music at St. Alban's (M@SA) and the Arts & Science Council, Mr. Joey had the children and teachers clap in time and play various rhythm instruments while he performed on his classical guitar. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the ukulele was a big hit. The children also enjoyed up close inspection and strumming of the guitar. It was a delightful experience for all.
