Swish Hoops! Basketball

Swish Hoops! (SH!) is a comprehensive basketball program for all ages created in 2004 by the marketing consultant and professional international player, Federico Brodsky. It is an innovative approach to learning that uses the sport of basketball to educate about positive values and connect individuals from diverse cultural groups. The program provides a top basketball academy, local, regional and

national tournaments, and guest lecture series featuring professionals from the field, international events, and a highly competitive travel team, among others. Since its inception, more than 50,000 basketball players of different ages have participated in Swish Hoops! Basketball. The program has been hosted at David Posnack Jewish Community Center, Michael Ann Russell Jewish Community Center, Soref Jewish Community Center and Town of Surfside. is now running at The Seminole Tribe of Florida and Potter Park, among other locations. Placed at National Level, SH! Basketball works throughout strategic alliances with organizations such as United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) and Youth Basketball of America (YBOA). Beyond the basketball goals, SH! has a strong commitment with the community by bonding different cultural groups through basketball, providing scholarships to low income families and bringing basketball to area schools.
