🌏 Over the past decade, Korean arts and culture have captivated the world, from the iconic music videos of K-pop idols, to thrilling TV shows such as Squid Game, and even food, like the Fire Noodle Challenge. On February 20, experience a blend of martial arts and dance with Bereish*t Dance Company.

"Park’s 'Judo' does include aspects of that martial art, in a dance battle executed with the explosive force of gymnasts and the smooth exactitude of a K-pop boy band. ... The style of 'Balance & Imbalance' is similar, athletically and abstractly setting oppositional forces in play, though it is set to live Korean drumming and bardic song about a dragon king and a rabbit." — The New Yorker

The title is also inspired by the prolific jazz pianist, Mary Lou Williams’s Zodiac Suite. I brought the demo to the recording session where we listened to it and learned the harmony and melody then made it our own."
