ASP after the Golden Hour
My family will be the first to tell you—I’m rarely home right after a Golden Hour session. How could I not stop and capture all of God’s beautiful artwork?

Fun Fact: The cover photo for this post was taken less than a quarter mile from my parents’ home. I grew up in Lake Benton, MN, the “Original Wind Power Capital of the Midwest.”
Lake Benton is a small town nestled on the Buffalo Ridge, an area with enough wind power to produce more electricity than Minnesota consumes in a year. With over 600 wind turbines—and more being built—it’s nearly a tie between turbines and people! (The 2023 census listed the population at 669.)
It’s a small but beautiful place that shaped who I am, and I’m excited to share more of it with you this year and many other beautiful places just like this!

I’ve been a little quiet over here taking some extra time off to hang out with my littles and do some working behind the scenes prepping for the year ahead and tying up loose ends from 2022!
I have so much in store for this year and I CAN NOT wait to share it all with you as the days turn in 2023!
