It’s felt difficult to show up here lately, while my work has been shifting so much further beyond your wedding days. To the days you vowed you’d be there, to the love you multiplied into babies or puppies or several house plants, to celebrating all the joy in the mundane with you.

There are and will continue to be weddings on my calendar for you all, but I am living for these juicy, overflowing seasons of life you’re building beyond your wedding day. The hard, the amazing, the ever changing days that make up the life you’ll look back on with fondness one day.

With a heart overflowing with love for his family, Mr. Jeff reached out to me a few months ago about photographing the whole family around either Easter or Mothers Day when grandma would be in town. “All my girls will be together!”

*cue the tears*

Nothing quite like getting your morning light while chatting with some young piggies in a fresh bit of pasture, living as they were designed to.

P.s. I loved having Hannah’s sweet 16 week old son zipped in my jacket napping for a few of these shots while she and her husband put the fence up together. When he was fast asleep I laid him on my jacket under the shade of a tree to hop in and meet these incredibly friendly boys. W***y just snoozed away. A beautiful reminder of our design intending for us to be outside, too. 🤍
